Imagination

Posted on 07/12/2024 by Daniel

We are always being told how much greater than we the weather systems of the world are, how small and insignificant we are compared to the size and wonder of the Universe itself. In our nations we strive for a name and adore fame because we are ‘common’ or ‘regular joes’ with nothing more to recommend us than our life. But that life is remarkable. And there is something in us that is killed off at a young age in so many but is actually the size of the Universe itself and that is our imaginations.

It rules us for it is only the vision of society – given, learned or rejected – that governs our every action. It imagination that has driven us across the world into the sky. It is imagination that will save the world from our unimaginative structures. It is imagination that is our entire inheritance.
