However the broadly American dictum that a lawyers is there to &#8216;win&#8217; for you is not a methodology given to justice first. It would be better in cases if the opposing lawyers got together, argued the facts, recorded the conversations, came to a fair assessment (which would be they win \/ they lose) and put the conclusion before the warring parties.
