But the sunny, dry days have been utterly amazing. Walking the moors has been a benediction, the wind gentle and cold, the grass pathways empty of people, the heathers full of colour, the blue skies holding at times a single, small cloud and nothing else. I laughed to myself the first day like this saying it was rare and should be enjoyed but these warm days keep arriving and climate change keeps surprising me.<\/p>\n<p>And hour and half is barely enough time to spend in the day with such reflective quietness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have some wild rain here &#8211; lasting all day at times and certainly so heavy it reminded me of the Monsoon.
