Alexander of Macedon was a dictator and serial invader. Many of the men I learned about as a child such as Wolf and Clive were invaders of other countries serving\u00a0 divine monarchs in England. We tend to think of dictators as the vile who kill their own, rape women and make lots of money but that is not the only sign. They are dictators who pout laws before ethics and do not derive laws only from ethics.<\/p>\n<p>Dictators can and often are, elected. Look at Nasser in Egypt,\u00a0Xi Jinping in China and the long list of men who rule by diktat. It doesn&#8217;t have to be a person. Money is a dictator suborning millions to lives of quiet desperation serving a system that is inherently unethical.
