I walked upon the beach at Daymer Bay<\/p>\n
With Rusty by my side as dawn arose<\/p>\n
And somewhere in that dawn, we touched a day<\/p>\n
Where sea, and dog and man could still compose<\/p>\n
A song that all of nature could complete;<\/p>\n
Whose harmonies within the hollow shells<\/p>\n
And Undulating dunes beside bare feet<\/p>\n
Sang all the dreams a poet ever tells<\/p>\n
Into a moment of rich solitude<\/p>\n
Where wet paws and the drying sand enjoy<\/p>\n
The soulful food of nature’s amplitude<\/p>\n
Who makes a dog from pup, and man from boy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And so we wander not so much awake<\/p>\n
Inhaling time with every breath we take<\/p>\n
