When I answered I was asked what I thought about the fact that other writers took a contrary view of what had surprised me and I said I thought there might be and if I were to write about it I would have to read both points of view and make my own decision. I don&#8217;t think that obvious point made a difference but I was accepted to study. Today is wholly different.<\/p>\n<p>Today I read online the most perverse statements which I can ignore but there are many that purport to be reasonable. If true they carry a heavy burden in many strands of modern societies. Sometimes no contrary position is immediately found and time has to pass before a rounder position may be taken. In this interim period mendacity is king because there is no peer review for online statements.
