So Pirates; Behind the Legends is showing in Disney+ right now as part of a documentary by National Geographic. Personally having seen the first three I don’t think it is as in-depth as might be expected from such an august organisation but it was hilarious and rather satisfying to see myself being a pirate, though my first scene was sleeping on the ropes. They used my pieces several times through the 8 episodes and when I told my friends Drake was a ‘nice guy who sold antiques in Penzance’ there was much laughter at this peek behind-the-scenes.<\/p>\n
They did a close of portrait shot of about nine of us of which I was one, which was good of them. I am looking out to sea in a very weathered costume. Obviously I was not one of the rich pirates.<\/p>\n
