I have always been something of an admirer of people who go to war just to get the story for the people back home. It has been a very important part of the world realising what soldiers have always known – there is no glory is victory because it is gained over too many dead. There is political gain, but that rarely lasts while death is forever.<\/p>\n
However I am not a great fan of paywalls to find content on the internet. This was created by scientists to be a place of knowledge and knowledge should always be free. While people have to have a salary to eat in this crazy society, maybe it is time for journalists to be like other writers and live a poor life for the dedication of their minds. I have met far too many who attend find donners and can afford bottles of rare whiskey to think their lifestyle is all about getting the story and telling the people.<\/p>\n
