I recall an American coming to our school and being amazed no one knew who Paul Revere was. I was not because I told him no country teaches it defeats to the young and the Minute Men in the Revolutionary War with America were a part of the reason the British lost. I didn’t realise the brainwashing that goes into education is far more extensive.<\/p>\n
There are tiers of standards, and schools that are overseen by governments to ensure a steady flow of manual workers and those which will produce the bulk of the professional classes. Thankfully a good deal of the gender based teaching has gone, but nowhere are children to taught to express their talents for themselves, they are taught to fit into a box designed by governments.<\/p>\n
Not all boxes are equal, come have less nationalism some just want good tax payers but all education aims to create the box.<\/p>\n
