You would have thought that last Saturday with all the rain when I passed the reservoir here it would have been full but no &#8230; it was lower than i have ever seen it and I was told it was 15% full. Parts of it looked like marsh and nothing more. It now stands at 21%.<\/p>\n<p>The locals are using bath water to flush their toilets. The problem is the visitors who holiday in the county &#8211; some 6 million a year &#8211; and the money they make for lettings, hotels and shops. None of those businesses give money back to the locals but the water company is refunding \u00a330 to each household for inconvenience. Obviously not a true reflection of the fact you pay hundreds of pounds a year for water and you don&#8217;t get it because everyone is too busy making money out of other people.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever we do, someone somewhere is paying a price for it and we don&#8217;t care.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Again.
