As king fishers catch fire, dragonflies draw flame;
\nAs tumbled over rim in roundy wells
\nStones ring; like each tucked string tells, each hung bell’s
\nBow swung finds tongue to fling out broad its name;
\nEach mortal thing does one thing and the same:
\nDeals out that being indoors each one dwells;
\nSelves — goes itself; myself it speaks and spells,
\nCrying What I do is me: for that I came.<\/p>\n
I say more: the just man justices;
\nKeeps grace: that keeps all his goings graces;
\nActs in God’s eye what in God’s eye he is —
\nChrist. For Christ plays in ten thousand places,
\nLovely in limbs, and lovely in eyes not his
\nTo the Father through the features of men’s faces.<\/p>\n
