Capitalism needs one thing to continue living – it needs consumption at a level that continues the economy’s growth. A stagnant economy fails, a failing economy will take the institutions of the country with it. Endless consumption is impossible on the planet which is why exploiting the Moon and asteroids is now looking desirable. The American continent has been exploited for 300 years and is chocking off which is why Greenland looks so attractive ot men who lust after money.
