I do wonder where State craft has gone in the international arena. To me the obvious play would be to say they will recognise a Palestinian State the minute the living and dead hostages are returned, whether or not Israel declares a cease-fire. This would not be acceptable to Hamas because it is not enough but equally it pressures Israel which m=none of these countries like whiteout specifically harming her. It also says to Netanyahu there, you have your hostages now stop the war as you have repeatedly said you would do.
What we have not is leaders propagating more reasons for the war to continue. More danger to the living hostages and more domestic uproar from the fascist right.
