I always wondered how two people can view the same set of facts and draw different conclusions. At college I learned that you can discern other facts from those presented and some people look deeper. And that process can be brilliant but mostly people view facts from their own perspective. A perspective learned in childhood when we lay down in our brains behaviour that links us directly with our mechanisms for survival. Early learning teaches us to navigate the world into which we have been born.
It takes an extraordinary person to throw those away if they new facts disprove those learned from our parents.
