It is very hot. took the dog for a walk at 8 this morning to beat the heat of the day and it was still an intense sunshine you could feel on your face. We were back in the car by 9 and he drank his water and was chill until about half an hour ago. All doors and windows open and it is still too hot to do anything much in the garden. It will break a little this evening but we get so few days like this it is actually quite joyful to have to alter one’s routine because the weather is so fine.
