A Brief History of Lies

Posted on 26/06/2025 by Daniel

The first book I ever published in the POD space was titled A Brief History of Lies, the habits and genetics of lying. It was actually an extended essay of 20,000 words which was based on the research of high intelligence being linked to skilled liars. It was published by Amazon first and now in book form on Ingrams. I never thought it much more than a good essay on understanding how we have evolved as liars and why it may have started as part of our survival mechanisms. But right now, in what the Internet has become, I think it was a timely insight into how broken our species is and the reason why, if we do not become more ethical, we are lost.
