In a world of lies the quiet person is king, the honest person is crucified.
I have been shocked by the immature attempts and the sophisticated attempts, to pervert honesty. The default to lying to get your way, or lying to obscure the truth, is so prevalent today it is difficult to come to conclusions about politics above and beyond the fact everything is in flux and dangerously abused. Interfering in elections, black is white, denial is truth, openness is defeat, money is god given, deep state exists, prisons are freedom, the sea is the land and the land belongs to humanity and nothing else.
I am better with my books written by people in the days when wanting to find out how things really are, meant something.
