We have some wild rain here – lasting all day at times and certainly so heavy it reminded me of the Monsoon. But the sunny, dry days have been utterly amazing. Walking the moors has been a benediction, the wind gentle and cold, the grass pathways empty of people, the heathers full of colour, the blue skies holding at times a single, small cloud and nothing else. I laughed to myself the first day like this saying it was rare and should be enjoyed but these warm days keep arriving and climate change keeps surprising me.
And hour and half is barely enough time to spend in the day with such reflective quietness.
