I read on linkedIn that Russia has no tariffs and this is proof that Donald Trump is in their pocket. But economists actually point out countries that have sanctions against them which makes for any meaningful trade with them irrelevant, Russia, Cube, North Korea, had no tariffs levied. I mean he might be in the pocket of North Korea, who am I to say?
But we should never jump to conclusions. after all Syria has tariffs levied now and last year their exports to the US totalled $11 million. So ‘meaningful’ no longer has a definition in the Whitehouse
