Cars and Charges

Posted on 07/02/2025 by Daniel

I am amazed at how difficult parking is in Cornwall. The locals all used to know all the places to park that were free so they could shop/have something to eat / meet up and over the years more and more such places have been converted to charging. The latest I know about is Siblyback Lakes. here is a site you have to drive to, you have no choice, with a pleasant café now losing money because South West Lakes Trust has decided to charge for parking.

Small minded and ridiculous when there are alternative pubs to go to for a drink and they don’t charge. Another mindless accountant in an office moving numbers around.
