when wars begin and as they roll forward, people take sides and do not see the same value of a life taken in the enemy as worth as much as a life on their side. It is almost as if we are all no longer quite human – either in this sentiment or in the progressing of a battle itself. So many murders everyday in this world supported by arms trades from countries wholly at peace. So many children, so much fear and all of it genuine, and too much of it informed by the self-given lie.
Flags are a construct. Countries artificial entities, tribes accidental and all of use wanting peace – apparently. I don’t think this was the world model we should have chosen.

I note you live on Cornwall – I was Mayor of Bodmin/Cornwall County Councillor/North Cornwall District Councillor back in the 70s.
