Lying Isn’t the Problem

Posted on 27/08/2024 by Daniel

Lying is part of the evolution of mind and is everywhere in every human interaction and country. The problem isn’t that lying exists or even how to recognise a lie, it is how we handle lies. If we take it as read that we are lied to all the time the need to be able to live without trust and not lose one’s own sense of purpose and honour, has become a necessity.

Of course there comes a time when we are set in our thinking – different for different people – but it would help if that moment we had enough wisdom and knowledge to understand that we will never know for sure most things and we should always be ready to change our minds. There are no golden rules and life is precious for everything in nature not just us.

If you really want to know how to exist in a culture of lies, read and follow the poets. Worldwide and in every language they will tell you how.
