I have tried to see where the freedoms are we hear so much about.
I understand we have freedom of thought – with the caveats that education can limit ones preparedness to imbibe information. That said it makes sense we all have a freedom to think. Politically we have a freedom of speech which is probably the only significant freedom we have. other than these two we have the freedom to make money and the freedom to spend money. There are no other freedoms. Which is why people who really love freedom go and live in the woods. But then they have to deny the freedom of animals to live.
